Flight area from a fairy tale: Schlick 2000 - great thermal flights and hot views!
Experience top-class paragliding tandem flights here! Similar to the nearby 11er, this flight area is very popular and well flown. Here you can experience everything a pilot's heart desires: beautiful nature, mostly perfect thermals, great take-off and landing areas and direct access by cable car. Located in beautiful Fulpmes in the Stubaital, the flying area is only 20 minutes by car from Innsbruck. On suitable days you can see hang gliders (kites) launching here at the launch site - absolutely breathtaking.
Duration of flight: A tandem paragliding flight usually lasts around 10 - 20 minutes. Acrobatic maneuvers, if desired, will shorten the flight somewhat, but will make the adrenaline level rise immensely. If the thermals are good, you can extend your paragliding flight on request for an additional charge of €45. The thermal conditions allow us to climb above the starting level and, in the best case, over the peaks.
The cost of the cable car is not included; a single ticket for the Schlick 2000 costs €20.10 for adults (with guest card), €17.10 for young people and €10.70 for children ( Schlick prices ). Hikers can of course save these costs and the meeting point will be agreed at the mountain station.
